| Holy crap, I lost a day somewhere... |
[Jun. 3rd, 2009|09:33 pm] |
My apologies for holding my Tuesday's Ten Minute Tale on a Wednesday. I genuinely thought today was Tuesday. How freaky is that???
I need to sleep... for about a month... |

| Tuesday's Ten Minute Tale - the setup! |
[Jun. 3rd, 2009|08:39 am] |
Here we go yet again... the first three people to post with a word, phrase, topic, theme, name, or whatever, dictate the direction of the story. I'll endeavour to incorporate all three suggestions, and write it within ten minutes of receiving the third post, work allowing. Then I'll post the result. |

| The Return of Tuesday's Ten Minute Tale! |
[May. 5th, 2009|10:40 am] |
Yes, well, it's Tuesday, and it's May, and I haven't really done any TTMT's this year yet, and I need inspiration. So, what the heck, let's start these up again. It's time for Tuesday's Ten Minute Tale!
So, here we go again... the first three people to post with a word, phrase, topic, theme, name, or whatever, dictate the direction of the story. Golly, I hope I remember how to do this... the last one I did was mildly disastrous... |

| Oops, nearly forgot! |

Michnight Echo Issue 1 is now available, and features a cavalcade of stories, including my own "Piggies", which the more astute amongst you might recognise as an edited version of one of my Tuesday's Ten Minute Tales. I miss doing them. Sigh. :(
Also, I'm eleven hours into NaNoWriMo, and haven't yet written a single word, or even had an idea what to write. And probably won't have time to do anything about it today. Ah well, that was easy! Maybe my NaNoWriMo should stand for National Not Writing Month! I think that'd be a bigger challenge for some people I know. Yes, I'm looking at you, azhure!

Usual disclaimers. One crappy weekend, a day off work sick, very little sleep... this could be awful... |

| Friday's Fifteen Minute Tale - the setup! |
[Aug. 8th, 2008|09:12 am] |
Okay, so Tuesday's Ten Minute Tale is a few days late; I've been at training for the past three days, and so haven't had internet access or the time to do this. But never let it be said that I shirk my duties entirely. So, with a modicum of careful renaming for the sake of alliteration... the first three people to post with a word, phrase, topic, theme, name, or whatever, dictate the direction of the story. I'll endeavour to incorporate all three suggestions, and write it within fifteen minutes of receiving the third post, work allowing. Then I'll post the result. |

Okay, here we go. Thanks to battersblog for "dust", chrisbarnes for "Trans-Siberian Railway", and rabbit1080 for "submarine". I'd have loved to go with benpeek's suggestion of an autobiography, but considering I've never been on the Trans-Siberian OR in a submarine, that makes it difficult. It IS first person, though, so that's kind of autobiographical, right? Right?
BTW, it's really lame today, I'm sorry. I wasn't inspired. I'm tired. Poop. :(

Now that I've finally finished (I think!) my backwards-and-forwards story, complete with title change and a whole new ending... the first three people to post with a word, phrase, topic, theme, name, or whatever, dictate the direction of the story. I'll endeavour to incorporate all three suggestions, and write it within ten minutes of receiving the third post, work allowing. Then I'll post the result. |
