I got a lovely letter from Alzheimers Australia today acknowledging the receipt of the $400 we raised for research in the name of Terry Pratchett. I'm so proud of everyone at Swancon who contributed to this, and it thrills me to know that Alzheimers Australia not only knows where we were coming from, but has obviously received other donations in Terry's name as well!
Well done, all of you. We've done a good thing.
(incidentally, I DID put "In the name of Swancon and Terry Pratchett" when I did the donation, but they seem to have left the Swancon out... ah well, Terry's the main thing, hey?)
